Verizon BlackBerry 10 smartphone specs leaked online

BlackBerry’s OS 10 operating system is one of the most awaited operating systems today, not because it is one of the best, but because Research in Motion (RIM), the maker of BlackBerry, has put in a lot of features to the new and upcoming operating system to make it one of the best. There have been a lot of rumors about the devices that will come with the new BlackBerry 10 operating system, and the list of rumors keeps growing.
One of the best rumors about the new BlackBerry 10 OS was the one which said Samsung is looking forward to releasing a smart phone with BB10 on it. Now, again, something like this has showed it self up on the internet. Verizon, one of the top wireless carriers in the United States, is supposed to be working on a smart phone with BlackBerry, which is expected to come out to the market with the new BB 10 operating system. The specs of this device seem to have been leaked online.
The unannounced BlackBerry Laguna, is said to have a nice 720p HD display, but the size of the display or the resolution have not been leaked. The display is told to have a pixel per inch count of 355 ppi. With this, the smart phone is expected to come with 1 GB of RAM, and a dual-core Snapdragon S4 Krait processor, which kind of seems below standard to me, as most of the smart phones these days come with quad core processors.
The BlackBerry Laguna is also expected to have a good quality 8 mega pixel camera at the back. However, there is no news about a front facing camera, though the presence of one is very obvious. To power up all these components, the smart phone is said to come with a 1,800 mAh battery, which seems good enough for me. Also, for people who want to enjoy high speed on their new BlackBerry, the Laguna is expected to feature Verizon’s Long Term Evolution (LTE).
There is a speculation that the first BlackBerry 10 device will be launched only in 2013. If so, these specs would be somewhat out-dated by then. What do you think?
